Ella's ideal home
Ella is looking for a calm and predictable home with caring adopters who will help her build her confidence, take her on lots of fun new adventures and will show her what it is like to live in a loving home. She can live with children aged 10 and over who understand when she is feeling worried and will give her space to relax and rest when needed. Ella could live with another dog that will match her playstyle and will happily coexist with her, but this is not a necessity, she could have friendly walking buddies instead, she cannot live with cats or other small furries. She has a little training under her belt, she would benefit from training in short, sweet sessions with the help of a smelly treat, as she can get easily distracted. She will need housetraining and would benefit from time off lead to explore so a private, secure garden with high fencing is needed. Ella can get a little worried being left alone, she could be left for up to 1-2 hours, but this would need to be built up slowly once she has had time to settle into her new home. Ella will need to meet her adopters multiple times prior to going home, so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Gentle girl Ella is a 2 and a half year old Greyhound who is learning to be brave in the big wide world. She doesn’t currently play with toys, she would much rather the company of her favourite humans for companionship and a reassurance. She likes a short, gentle fuss once she gets to know you. She is quite a foodie girl and likes a tasty treat, she will not take it from the hand, but will happily pick it up from the floor once dropped for her and eat it. This gorgeous girl is looking for her new home.
