About This Dog for Adoption

Prue's ideal home

Prue is looking for a home with caring adopters who can take her on lots of fun new adventures and will show her what it is like to live in a loving home. She can live with children of primary school age and above who are confident with larger dogs and who will play nicely with her and give her space to rest when she needs. Prue would happily live in a home with another sighthound who will happily co-exist and engage in occasional play, but this is not a necessity, she would be happy with friendly walking buddies, she cannot live with cats or other small furries. She has little training under her belt, she would benefit from training in short, sweet sessions with the help of a smelly treat, as she can get easily distracted. Prue will need housetraining so a private, secure garden with high fencing is needed. She can settle alone so could be left for up to 1-2 hours, this should be built up gradually once she has had time to settle into her new home. Prue will need to meet her adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Could you be Prue's perfect match?

Super chill girl Prue is a 5 year old Greyhound with a heart of gold. She likes to play and zoom around in the odd short burst, but much prefers the relaxed lifestyle, lounging around, having snuggles etc. She is a cuddly girl, and will lean on you for more, if you wander off she will follow you to see if she can get more fusses and affection from you. This awesome lass will make the best sofa snuggle buddy ever, and is looking for her new home.
