DescriptionTiger's ideal home
Tiger is looking for a loving home who have the time and patience to introduce him to his new life as a family pet, willing to train him in some of his basics and give him all the sofa snuggles he deserves! He can live with children aged 8 years and over who understand that despite being super friendly and calm, he will sometimes need his own space to relax. Tiger can also live alongside most dogs and particularly enjoys the company of calm dogs that will happily co-exist but enjoy a gentle play from time to time. If he is the only dog in the home, Tiger would also enjoy some doggy buddies to adventure with on his walks. Tiger cannot live with cats or small furries. Although he can manage some time on his own, possibly up to 4 hours, this would need to be introduced and built up gradually after his initial settling in period, so he can get used to his new environment and routine. His adopters should be prepared to start some of his basic training, including his housetraining. Tiger is an absolute dream to walk on the lead and loves to explore our woodland areas and have the odd bounce around our field before curling up on a duvet for a long well-deserved snooze. He will also need regular access to a communal or private garden to aid him in refining his housetraining. Tiger will need to meet his adopters a couple of times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. If you rent your property, please have written permission from your landlord ready once you have submitted your application to avoid delays, as it will be required early on in the rehoming process if you are shortlisted. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes between 7 - 10 days.
Could you be Tiger's perfect match?
Tiger is a lovable, super sweet & gentle 2 year old Greyhound who loves all of the simple things in life – a tasty treat, some gentle fusses and a good sniffy walk. He’s a very docile leggy lad who now and then enjoys a cheeky bounce around and zoomies before retiring to his bed to sprawl out and snooze. He doesn’t know much in the way of training but is keen to learn due to his love of a snack, so this would be a great way to engage him in some positive training. He is quite the social butterfly and has politely made friends with a variety of dogs during his time here! Tiger is such a wonderful lad and will make the perfect addition to a home looking for both a cuddle and adventure buddy.
