Ted's ideal home

Ted is a gentle three-year-old who can be shy when meeting new people and in unfamiliar environments, but with a calm, patient approach he soon begins to warm up. He is independent but polite around other dogs and would enjoy having calm walking buddies rather than boisterous playmates. Ted could live with children aged 14+ who are quiet, understanding, and able to give him space when he needs it. He has a medium energy level—happy to head out for walks and explore at his own pace before settling down for a cosy cuddle on the sofa.

Ted is looking for adopters who are willing to invest time and patience into helping him build confidence and feel secure in new situations. He will need some ongoing training and a few housetraining reminders as he settles into home life, but he is very capable with the right guidance. Once settled, Ted can be left for a few hours and will make a loving, loyal companion for someone who enjoys watching a shy dog gradually bloom into himself.
