About This Dog for Adoption

Mariah's ideal home

Mariah is looking for a home with caring adopters who can take her on lots of fun new adventures and will show her what it is like to live in a loving home. She can live with secondary school aged children who will play nicely with her and give her space to rest when she needs. Mariah likes her toys all to herself, so is looking to be the only pet in the home, but she would be ok with calm and polite walking buddies. She has little training under his belt, she would benefit from training in short, sweet sessions with the help of a smelly treat, as she can get easily distracted. Because of her prey drive Mariah will be going home on a lead and muzzle disclaimer, she will need housetraining and would benefit from time off lead to explore so a private, secure garden would be beneficial but not essential. She can settle alone so could be left for up to 2-4 hours, this should be built up gradually once she has had time to settle into her new home. Mariah will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Could you be Mariah's perfect match?

Mariah, affectionately nicknamed 'Tiny', is a dinky greyhound who has a lot of love to give! She absolutely adores frolicking and bouncing around with her toys and having a good play before stretching out for a nice snooze on a warm and comfy bed. She loves a good neck scratch and a tasty snack!
