Solo is a charming young greyhound, aged 1 year and 10 months, with a friendly and confident nature when meeting new people. As an ex-racing greyhound, he will need adopters who understand the breed and can offer patience and reassurance while he settles into home life. Solo has a medium energy level and enjoys his daily exercise, but he is also happy to relax once his needs are met. He can be left for up to four hours, as long as this is built up gradually, and will thrive in a calm, structured environment where he can learn at his own pace.

Solo is confident and excitable around other dogs and may be able to live with another dog of a similar size and with compatible breed traits. Due to his high prey drive, he cannot live with cats or small furries, and he is best suited to a home with children aged 11 and over. A secure area is essential for Solo, allowing him to be off lead without the need for a lead or muzzle and giving him space to stretch his long legs safely. With understanding, consistency, and kindness, Solo will make a wonderful companion for adopters ready to support him as he transitions from racing life to a loving home.
