Marcus is a handsome 6-year-old Greyhound who is confident, affectionate, and enjoys meeting new people. He settles quickly with gentle introductions and has been friendly and relaxed when greeting new people. Marcus is currently mixing well with dogs of a similar breed and enjoys their company, but he has shown an intense prey drive towards smaller dogs. Because of this, he will need an owner who understands sighthound behaviour and can confidently manage him around smaller animals while out on walks.

Marcus would suit a home where he can enjoy a calm environment and regular walks with an owner who appreciates the loving, loyal nature of Greyhounds. Due to his strong prey drive, he cannot live with cats or small furries, and a home without small dogs is recommended. He can live with sensible children aged 11 and over who understand how to interact respectfully with dogs. With the right home, Marcus will be a wonderful companion, offering plenty of affection and enjoying a relaxed lifestyle alongside his new family.
