Tanya's ideal home
Tanya can live with children of high school age, but not other dogs. She has spent her life in racing kennels and may need a little help with house training. It's advisable not to leave Tanya alone for any length of time whilst settling in, as she won't be used to this

Tanya is an easy going girl but the recent wet weather has made it clear that she isn't a fan of the rain! She tolerates it if she's got her coat on but definitely prefers to wait it out indoors if she has the choice. When she is out, Tanya just loves to lean on you and can sometimes get in the way of your legs! She's very affectionate and likes a gentle fuss, and had no issues being given a check over by our vet. Tanya enjoys walking with her Greyhound pals but wasn't as comfortable sharing a kennel with a dog she knew, so she's probably going to be more comfortable as the only dog in her new home, but with friends for walks. Her chase instinct is quite strong so care should be taken around smaller dogs as she is an ex-racer. Tanya loves to play with toys and likes to chase after them and then carry them to bed with her.
