DescriptionGladys's ideal home
Gladys is looking for a calm and loving home to relax in and enjoy her golden years, she can live with children aged 14 and over who can play with her when she wants and give her space when she needs. Gladys is uncomfortable around other dogs so is looking to be the only pet in the home, have no visiting pets and would prefer quiet walking routes where she can explore without worry. Gladys doesn’t have a lot of training, but loves a tasty smelly treat, so can be convinced to do training with treats, she will need a refresher on her house training so her own private, secure garden is essential. Gladys can get worried being left alone for too long, she could be left for up to 2 hours, this will need to be built up gradually after she has had time to settle into her new home. Gladys will need to meet her adopters multiple times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
Could you be Gladys's perfect match?
Sweet lady Gladys is a 12 year old Greyhound just wants a loving home to call her own. She loves a gentle scratch or fuss, before heading off to her bed for a nap. Gladys likes to play, a squeaky soft toy is her favourite, but she will rag around with ropes and teddies with a happy bark. She is very motivated by food, (the soft, smelly kind) and will take a treat gently from the hand. Gladys is ready to start her next chapter of life with her new family, could it be you?
