Fred's ideal home
Fred is a handsome 3-year-old Greyhound with a wonderfully calm and affectionate nature. This happy, chilled-out boy loves spending time outdoors exploring new places, but he’s never too far from his people and will often check back in for a cuddle. Gentle and instantly friendly with everyone he meets, Fred enjoys human company and is happy to be left for short periods. He gets on well with other dogs while also being quite independent, making him an easy-going companion to have around.
Could you be Fred's perfect match?
Fred could live with confident secondary school-aged children who are comfortable around large, occasionally bouncy dogs. As he may not have lived in a home environment before, he will need a patient adopter who can help him learn household routines and continue his housetraining. Due to his very high prey drive, Fred will need to remain on lead during walks and would benefit from an owner who understands the breed’s instincts and can provide safe opportunities for enrichment and exploration. In return, Fred will reward his new family with plenty of affection, companionship, and gentle loyalty.
