About This Dog

Juniper's ideal home

Juniper is a friendly, happy 4-year-old boy who loves meeting new people. He is confident when meeting other dogs, although he can feel a little worried around dogs who are overly playful. Juniper could live with a calm, independent dog who enjoys taking things at his own pace and having a gentle mooch together. He can live with another dog, subject to a successful mix at the centre, and could live with secondary school-aged children. As Juniper can jump up when excited to greet people, his new family will need to help him learn some polite greetings.

Could you be Juniper's perfect match?

Juniper would be happiest with a family who enjoys a nice walk followed by plenty of downtime at home. Once settled, he should be able to cope with being left for a few hours. His adopters will need to be patient and willing to do some basic training with him, including helping him become fully housetrained. With a little guidance, consistency and lots of encouragement, Juniper has all the makings of a wonderful companion and would make a lovely addition to his new family.
