About This Dog

Bimini's ideal home

Meet Bimini, the handsome and sensitive 4 year old Greyhound who has just started his search for a forever home after not having too much interest in a racing career. He’s a gentle and affectionate boy who enjoys the quieter side of life. Like many ex-racers, he can sometimes feel a little unsure in new situations and is still building his confidence, but with reassurance and a steady routine, he really starts to shine. He’s a sweet, loyal companion who loves company, comfy beds, and a fuss from his favourite people. His unique smile is guaranteed to make you fall in love with him, so could you offer Bimini his forever home?

Could you be Bimini's perfect match?

Bimini is looking for his new family, and will thrive in a calm home with patient adopters who can help him continue to grow in confidence. His ideal home would be a family with breed experience, who can slowly introduce him to home life. Due to not being exposed to much of the world outside of racing, he would be best suited to older secondary school aged children who will understand his worries and will be calm around him. Being around another dog seems to give Bimini confidence, so he could share his new home with another sighthound. As an ex racer, he will need to wear a lead and muzzle when out and about due to his prey drive - because of this he would benefit from having his own garden to zoom around in. Bimini will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
