About This Dog

Flint's ideal home

Flint can live with other Greyhounds or large dogs and children of high school age. As he is an ex racer he is unlikely to have been in a home before so please be patient with his house training and getting used to spending time alone. Flint has alopecia and would benefit from some cosy jumpers in cooler weather.

Could you be Flint's perfect match?

Flint is a quiet boy who likes to say hello to people and has no issues with strangers, even the vet. He takes everything in his long stride and is very easy going, only showing any real excitement when he spots a squirrel. Flint seems to be a fairly confident dog and has no qualms about sticking his long snoot into available treat pouches, so we'd suggest keeping your worktops free of food at home when he's around! He is sharing his kennel happily with another Greyhound and seems relatively at ease with other large dogs although he doesn't get involved when his pal is playing with toys, he likes to watch her intently! It would be a good idea to make sure he is monitored around any new toys if he lives with another dog, just to make sure there's no issues.
