About This Dog for Adoption

Winnie's ideal home

Meet the most beautiful girl, Winnie, a 6-year old Greyhound looking for her forever sofa! Winnie is a gentle girl, and could be rehomed with children as young as 4yrs. She is a really lovely lady, who loves to be around her people and settles really nicely in any environment.
Winnie does polite sniffs and moves on from dogs, a friendly girl but would prefer to be the only dog in the home so she can get all the attention for herself.
Winnie loves receiving a fuss from everyone she meets and is happy to make friends everywhere she goes. Her ears make us all cry here at the centre, she really is just a beautiful angel.
Winnie loves to get out for walks and sniffy adventures, walking really well on the lead without pulling. She is a laid back lady, who just wants to spend time with her people and receive a nice scratch. She is a foodie girl, but she is very polite and gentle when taking treats, and really enjoys her long lasting chews to keep her occupied.
We cannot wait to see this gorgeous girl with her forever family!

Could you be Winnie's perfect match?

Winnie would love nothing more than go for a chilled, sniffy walk followed by a lay down and cuddle with her people on the sofa. She is immediately friendly with new people, and has been friendly and polite with dogs.
She has been left for 4-6 hours previously with no issues, so there is scope for leaving hours in the new home once settled. Winnie is fully housetrained, and travels really well in the car.
Winnie would be a perfect first dog for a family looking for a calm, gentle girl to welcome into their home.
"We love Winnie!" we all say in unison.
