Onyx is a truly handsome lad with a gentle soul and a heart full of love to give. He's been wonderfully friendly with everyone he's met, happily soaking up attention and enjoying all the little comforts life has to offer. Whether he's leaning in for a fuss or heading out on one of his sniffari adventures, Onyx takes the world in with quiet curiosity and charm.
As an ex-racing Greyhound, Onyx may not have experienced all the sights and routines of a typical household before, so he would love a patient, understanding family to help him with his basic training, including housetraining and time being left alone. Onyx will need to wear a muzzle out on walks, which he is comfortable with, he has enjoyed meeting other dogs and could potentially share his home with a similar-sized dog following a successful meet at the centre.
Onyx could live with children of any age, as long as they are comfortable around larger breeds and understand the importance of giving him space - especially when he's enjoying a well-earned snooze after his adventures.
