About This Dog for Adoption

Bonnie's ideal home

Beautiful Bonnie is a three-year-old Greyhound with a lovely mix of sweetness and independence. She is looking for a home that can give her plenty of love, fun, and patience as she finds her paws in a new environment.
Bonnie will need to be the only pet in the home but would enjoy having some calm doggy walking friends to socialise with. She can live with children aged 12 and over, though this could be lowered depending on introductions. Visitors are absolutely fine, as long as things stay relaxed and positive for her.
Bonnie will need to stay on lead in public. She is not yet housetrained, so her new family should be ready to help her learn the ropes and continue her basic home skills and gradually settling into home life. Bonnie would also benefit from a home that can slowly build up her time alone as she prefers company to start with. A garden would be a nice bonus, but it is not essential.

Could you be Bonnie's perfect match?

Bonnie is a gentle, affectionate girl who loves her walks, especially when there are plenty of interesting scents to explore! She is a big fan of sniffy strolls and has a soft spot for her beloved squeaky pheasant toy. When she is not investigating the world, she enjoys a bit of fuss – though true to her independent nature, she is just as happy doing her own thing too.

She is content seeing other dogs out and about, but if she cannot say hello, she can sometimes get a bit vocal about it – nothing a little patience and training cannot help with. Bonnie would love a home that keeps her mind busy with gentle enrichment and fun mental challenges.

If you are after a sweet, playful companion who enjoys both your company and her own space, Bonnie could be just the girl for you.
