About This Dog

Grogu's ideal home

Grogu is a handsome 6 year old Greyhound with a real zest for life! This bouncy boy loves nothing more than chasing after his toys and proudly parading with them - especially the squeaky ones! As an ex-racer, Grogu will need to learn about the comforts and routines of home life, so he will need a patient and understanding family to help him settle in. He will benefit from support with basics such as housetraining, and any time spent alone should be introduced gradually as he builds confidence in his new environment. Grogu is food-motivated and takes treats very gently, which will be a great advantage as he continues his training. He could potentially live with children aged 6 and over who are comfortable with larger, energetic dogs and understand the importance of giving him space when he is resting or settled. At the moment, Grogu will need to be the only dog in the home while his socialisation continues to be assessed. On walks, Grogu is a pleasure to handle and walks beautifully on the lead. Due to his prey drive, he will need to wear a muzzle when out and about.
