Micky's ideal home
Micky is looking for a home with caring adopters who can take him on some fun new adventures and will adore a beautiful, loving & snuggle buddy that loves quality time and cuddles on the sofa. He can live with primary school age children and above who are confident with a leggy dog, and who will play nicely with him, and give him space to rest when she needs. Micky would happily live in a home with another dog who will happily co-exist and engage in occasional play, but this is not a necessity, he would be happy with friendly walking buddies. Due to his racing history, he cannot live with cats or other small furries. He has little training under his belt, so he would benefit from training in short, sweet sessions, with the help of a smelly treat, as he can get easily distracted. Micky will need housetraining refresher so a private garden, communal area, or a home without a garden that’s willing to take him out multiple times a day to toilet, would be ideal. He can settle alone for up to 1-2 hours, this should be built up gradually once he has had time to settle into his new home. Micky will need to meet his adopters a couple of times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Micky is looking for a loving family with a sofa that’s big enough for him to stretch out and snooze on! He loves nothing more than cuddles and quality time with his favourite people, often nuzzling his handlers for more fusses! Micky is a chill guy who strolls calmly at your side on his walks, enjoys playing with his favourite teddies and settles nicely on a cozy bed with a tasty snack. He will make a very lucky family a perfect companion!
