Roo's ideal home

Roo is a gentle girl who has recently retired from her racing career. She has been really friendly here and she’s so calm we think she’d be fine living with children of primary school age. Roo is currently sharing her kennel with another dog and could live with one in her new home. Any match would be subject to a mix in centre prior to adoption to check that they all get on. As an ex-racer Roo is unable to live with cats.

Could you be Roo's perfect match?

Roo is 3yrs old and came into our care after a life as a racer. She is a total sweetheart and very gentle. We’re not sure if she’s ever lived in a home before so she’d love a family who will be patient and show her the ropes. This includes building up left alone time gradually, and she’ll need a bit of a helping hand with car travel. Roo does really try to keep her kennel clean though, so housetraining shouldn’t take her long at all. She’s an absolute diamond who is perfect for any Greyhound-lovers, and if you don’t know much about the breed then she could be your excellent, lazy, laid-back introduction!
