About This Dog

Dove's ideal home

Dove is a beautiful girl who had arrived in our care with little known about her past. She is affectionate, loving and loves nothing more than being with her people. Like a true Greyhound, she's at her happiest leaning against you for a fuss. Dove could share her home with another dog following a meeting here at the centre. She's been friendly with everyone she meets and could live with lower primary aged children following. Dove loves a comfy bed and would thrive in a home where she can enjoy gentle walkies followed by getting snuggled up for an afternoon snooze! Dove is an ex-racer and does have a high prey drive, so happily wears her muzzle out and about on her walkies.

Could you be Dove's perfect match?

Dove's new family will need to be confident to help her learn all she needs to know. We don't know if she's experienced life in a home before and will therefore need some support with the basics like housetraining. We recommend any time being left is built up gradually as she settles in.
