Sweet, laid back lady Marcy is a 9 year old Greyhound who enjoys a stroll and a sniff, she walks gently on the lead next to you. She loves a good play and will chase and bound around after her toys, picking up and throwing her teddies and raggy toys around. She likes a fuss and a cuddle and will lean into you for more, she especially likes a good neck scratch. This wonderful lass is ready to find her new home.

Could you be Marcy's perfect match?

Marcy is looking for a calm home with caring adopters who can take her on gentle strolls and will show her what it is like to live in a loving home. She can live with primary show children who are confident with larger dogs and who will play nicely with her and give her space to rest when she needs. Marcy would happily live in a home with another calm and polite sighthound who will happily co-exist and engage in occasional play, but this is not a necessity, she would be happy with polite and friendly walking buddies. She has little training under her belt although she does know her name already, she would benefit from training in short, sweet sessions with the help of a tasty treat or a squeaky toy. She would like a home with a private garden to have a quick zoom around and play in, although this is not a necessity. She can settle alone so could be left for up to 2-4 hours, this should be built up gradually once she has had time to settle into her new home. Marcy will need to meet her adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
