About This Dog for Adoption

Kelly's ideal home

Meet Kelly! A sweet 3-year-old Greyhound with a heart full of love and a tail that is always wagging! Kelly is friendly with everyone she meets and enjoys going on walks with other dogs, though she’d prefer to be the only dog in her home. Although we have not seen any signs of a prey drive, due to her breed, she is unable to live with cats or other small animals, but she’s gentle and could happily live with primary school–aged children. She loves her soft toys and balls, and exploring new places on walks is one of her favorite things. Kelly settles really well on her own, happily playing with her toys or relaxing, so she’s happy to be left once she’s comfortable. A private garden would be ideal, though she’d likely cope with communal outdoor access too.

Could you be Kelly's perfect match?

Kelly came into our care through no fault of her own—she’s an ex-racer looking for a loving forever home. She’s gentle, walks beautifully on the lead, and loves food, making her super easy to train and eager to please. If you’re looking for a calm, playful, and affectionate companion, Kelly could be the perfect addition to your family.
