About This Dog for Adoption

Bodhi's ideal home

Bodhi is a Seven-year-old Deerhound cross Greyhound looking for a loving home. He could potentially live with another dog in the home, a calm dog of similar size. He would benefit from having doggy pals when out and about. He has a high-prey-drive in sight-hound fashion, so will need a home without cats, small fu8rries, or livestock. He could share his home with children aged eleven years plus. Bodhi is likely to be nervous around visitors to the home initially before he warms to them. He is housetrained. He is a good car traveller. He is okay to be left alone at home for a few hours at a time. He could cope with a reasonably busy home environment but is not fond of loud noises within the home, or fireworks. Bodhi would benefit from a calm, gentle environment with a routine to build confidence and a bond with the people around him.

Could you be Bodhi's perfect match?

Bodhi is a big, gentle, softie! He is a typical Lurcher, a little shy to begin with but soon warms up and soon loves snuggles and fuss and gives lots of kisses! Bodhi would adore a comfy bed or a sofa to chill out on and have quiet time throughout the day. Out and about it’s time for fun. He loves woodland walks, and large open beaches or sandy burrows. He likes to play with toys and do ‘zoomies’ – in true Lurcher style! He is social with other dogs and likes to greet them gently and walk side by side. He can be boisterous in play which is not every dog’s cup of tea. Bodhi knows his basic training and will give you his paw for a tasty treat.
