About This Dog for Adoption

Vinny's ideal home

Vinny is a delightful 3 year old greyhound. He is looking for a home where he is the only dog, but he is happy to meet and socialise with doggy friends outside of the home. He's a very gentle, calm soul and could share his home with older primary school children. His own garden isn't essential as long as he has regular access to outside areas and places he can stretch his long legs and have a run around, or some zoomies! He is used to being left for an hour or two and once settled this could be slowly built upon up to around 3 hours, if Vinny is happy with this.

Could you be Vinny's perfect match?

Vinnie came to us through no fault of his own, and is currently enjoying his time in one of our lovely foster homes. He has only been with them for a week or two and has already learnt how to use the stairs, and is now almost fully house trained too. He's a calm, gentle boy, and loves to be close to his humans, so he's great company and a perfect walking companion - he walks nicely on lead, loves a stroll outdoors, and is happy to say hello to all dogs and people he meets. He loves his food, and is likely to search worktops for tasty treats, so his new family will need to be aware of this - he's a very tall boy! He's happy to travel in the car, so would love to visit new places for sniffs and adventures with his family. Could you offer this lovely young lad a new home?

Please note that you won't be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you are looking for. You can also add up to four favourtites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you've submitted your application, we can't change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.
