About This Dog for Adoption

Brennan's ideal home

Brennan is looking for a home with caring adopters who can take him on lots of fun new adventures, who will help him build his confidence and show him what it is like to live in a loving home. He can live with older primary school aged children who are confident with larger dogs and who will play nicely with him and give him space to rest when he needs. Brennan likes all the attention to himself, so is looking to be the only pet in the home, he would be happy with calm and polite walking buddies. He has little training under his belt, he would benefit from training in short, sweet sessions with the help of a smelly treat, as he can get easily distracted. Brennan likes to explore and potter in peace so access to a private, secure garden is preferred. He can settle alone so could be left for up to 2-4 hours, this should be built up gradually once he has had time to settle into his new home. Brennan will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Could you be Brennan's perfect match?

Gentle chap Brennan is a 3 year old Greyhound who finds the world a little overwhelming, he is learning to be brave on walks, with the help of similar sized 4 legged walking buddies. He likes a fuss, ear scratches are his favourite and he will do the Greyhound lean to keep you scratching. He likes to chase tennis balls, zooming around after them, as soon as they stop rolling, he will wander off, this wonderful boy is looking for his new sofa to snooze on.
