About This Dog for Adoption

Luigi's ideal home

If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate companion with a heart of gold and a love for lounging, Luigi might just be your perfect match. This 6-year-old ex-racing greyhound has swapped the track for the couch and is embracing retirement with grace and charm. Luigi is a super sweet boy who adores people of all ages—including preschoolers—and gets along well with other dogs of a similar size or breed.
Since arriving, Luigi has shown just how chilled he can be. He’s happy to be left for short periods and is already proving himself to be a calm and easy going housemate. He’s great on the lead, enjoys a good zoomies session in the garden, and absolutely loves being groomed. While he’s still learning the ropes when it comes to basic training, he’s eager to please and will thrive with gentle guidance and positive reinforcement.
Luigi is working on building his confidence in the car, but with a little patience, he’ll soon be your go-to adventure buddy. Whether it’s a quiet stroll or a lazy afternoon on the sofa, Luigi is happiest when he’s by your side.

Could you be Luigi's perfect match?

Luigi would love a home where he can enjoy a relaxed pace of life with people who will shower him with love and help him continue to flourish in his new family home. Luigi absolutely loves zoomies and will soon show his great playful spirit. He’d do well with another calm dog for company or as a solo pet soaking up all the attention.
If you’re ready to welcome a loyal, loving, and low-maintenance companion into your life, Luigi is waiting to meet you!
