Rodney's ideal home
Rodney is ready and raring to start the search for a home! An ex-racer, we don’t know whether he’s been around kids. He’s gentle and calm though, so we think he’ll be able to live with primary school children that can go slowly with him at first. Rodney can share his home with another dog, provided they get along during a dog mix in centre first. With his racing history he’s not going to be suitable to live with cats.

Rodney is a 3yr old ex-racing Greyhound who is now on the lookout for a loving home to replace the racetrack. He’s a calm, sweet lad who might not have ever been in a home environment before. A family that are prepared to show him the ropes will be just what he’s looking for! He does really try to keep his kennel clean though, so should make short work of housetraining. Rodney settles nicely in his kennel but with no experience of being left in a home this should be introduced gradually. He’ll need a bit of confidence building in and around the car as he’s not too sure at all about how to get in yet. With time and patience he’s sure to get the hang of things, and he’s definitely worth the effort.
