Jamie's ideal home

Jamie is a gentle soul who would love to find a family all of his own after retiring from his racing career. He will be able to live with children of primary school age who are happy around a larger boy, and can also live with another dog. He’d prefer a quieter doggy friend, and any match would be subject to a mix in centre prior to adoption. As an ex-racer he’s unsuitable to live with cats and would benefit from having his own secure garden.

Jamie is gentle Greyhound who at 4yrs old has recently retired from the racetracks and would love to find a home where he can enjoy the finer things in life. In his eyes this includes tasty treats, lots of snuggles and squeaky toys to play with. He might not have experienced life in a home before so would love an understanding family to show him the ropes and help him out with housetraining and being left alone. He does settle in his kennel though, and has shown really positive associations with the car so there’s lots to suggest that it won’t take him long to adjust! If you’re looking for a derpy yet very sweet long-legged lad then Jamie could be your perfect match.
