Blake's ideal home
Blake can live with other Greyhounds and children of high school age. He will have spent his life in a kennel environment so please be patient as he may not be house trained or used to being home by himself. Blake has some hip pain that may require ongoing medication.
Could you be Blake's perfect match?
Blake can usually be found snoozing on his duvet but always jumps up to say hello to us his handlers when they're about. He seems rather concerned about the outside world and is worried by traffic, so a home and walking areas away from busy roads would be ideal for him. Blake has been very affectionate with people and likes to lean into you whist you stroke him, a Greyhound characteristic. He is sharing his kennel happily with another Greyhound but he doesn't seem that keen on other breeds, especially if they come close to him. We would happily rehome him with another well matched Greyhound or Lurcher but probably not another breed. Some time out in the real world may get him used to others but Blake shouldn't be forced into interacting with anyone he's not keen on. Blake likes his treats and toys and loves to chase a tennis ball about before lying down with it.
