About This Dog for Adoption

Perseus's ideal home

Perseus is a beautiful and fun loving 5 year old Greyhound. He is an ex-racer so is looking for a family that can help him learn all he needs to know about life in a home. He loves fuss and attention from his favourite people and can be an excitable and bouncy boy at times, for this reason he would be best suited to children of 6+ who are confidence around bigger dogs. It's likely he has never been in a home before so will need some patience whilst he settles in. Perseus will need help with all his training including housetraining and learning how to be left alone, which we recommend is gradually built up. He would love a big comfy bed to snooze on and fully safe and secure garden he can zoom around in! Perseus wears his muzzle out and about on his walkies as he likes to chase small furries likes cats and squirrels. He will need to be the only pet where he can work on his socialisation. He's only really known other Greyhounds, so can become a little overwhelmed when meeting dogs of different breeds and sizes.

Could you be Perseus's perfect match?

Perseus is an active boy and would love a family who will enjoy going on adventures, exploring and playing with him! He loves people and is always happy when he's meeting new human friends out on his walkies!
