Say hello to Sharkey! Sharkey is a 5 year old greyhound, he LOVES people and would love to find a home where he can get lots of fuss and snuggle on a sofa or soft comfy bed. He enjoys his walks and likes having sniffs along the way and walks nicely on lead. He has been excited to meet everyone at the centre and we know he is going to make a wonderful addition to his new home. He may need support settling into the home and learning the basics such as housetraining. Due to being an ex-racer, Sharkey will need to be kept on lead when out and about so would love his own, secure garden for zoomies and snoozing in the sunshine. Sharkey could join a home with children of primary school age and older. He has been friendly with the dogs he has met at the centre but prefers human company so we feel he would be better suited to being the only dog in the home.

We have found Sharkey to be an adorable and gentle boy who loves people and is excited to go for his walks. He has walked with volunteers at the centre and all who meet him say what a lovely boy he is. He will make a loving companion for someone willing to put some time in at the start to help him learn the basics and settle into his new home. Could you be Sharkey's furever home?
