About This Dog for Adoption

Betsy's ideal home

Betsy is a two-year-old Greyhound with a nervous nature but has been coming around with time, love and patience, and treats help too! She is looking for a home with adult adopters and it would be beneficial for her to live with another dog, a calm, confident dog. Betsy is best suited to a quieter home environment when it comes to noise and people coming and going. She will need patient and understanding adopters who will help her find her paws in a home environment using positive reward training. Home life will be new to her, since arriving in our care she has found out that she really loves snuggling in a duvet. Watching Betsy grow will be very rewarding for her lucky adopter.

Could you be Betsy's perfect match?

Beautiful Betsy has slowly come around to enjoying a fuss with her carers and taking treats from them, enjoying their company. She likes to go for walks, and she plods along gently on her lead right by your side. Betsy does not mind if other dogs come and join her on walks. As an ex-racing Greyhound, she is required to wear her muzzle when out and about to keep the local wildlife safe. After a short stroll Betsy likes to head back for a nap. She likes to take a soft toy with her to bed. She is super adorable.
