Description

Rosy's ideal home

Rosy is a really sweet, 4 month old girl, looking for a new home where she can build up her confidence. Rosy likes to play games with her people and also loves to lie down on the couch! She is eager to learn and is very trainable! Rosy is spending a lot of time up in the office whilst here at the centre and she would love to have her very own sofa and people around her all day, every day! As she is a nervous girl she will need potential adopters to visit her multiple times at the centre to build a bond with her!

Could you be Rosy's perfect match?

Rosy loves to meet other dogs and is looking to be rehomed with a well adjusted resident dog to help show her the ropes and build her confidence up. She can live with children over 16 as she is wary of younger children. Rosy can be very worried when meeting new people (especially men with hats and caps on) and would need her owners to go nice and slow with her when bringing visitors in to the home and making sure she has a space to go off to and allow her to go to them! Rosy is such a lovely character who is bound to make the right home happy!

Greyhound Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Greyhound.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
