About This Dog

Mary's ideal home

Mary is a gentle older lady who is looking for a retirement home having wound up in our care through no fault of her own. She has been friendly with staff in centre but can be a bit worried of visitors to the home. With a nice safe space for her to retreat to, or a brief walk to say hi first, she’ll be just fine. As an older girl she’s not looking to live with young children but those of secondary school age would be fine. Mary can live with another dog, pending a successful mix at the centre. A similar breed would suit her best.

Could you be Mary's perfect match?

Mary is 11 years old and the kindest, sweetest girl you could wish to meet. She’s looking for her next cosy bed to snooze on and a family to share her retirement years with. Mary is happy being left in her own company for a few hours at a time, and is also happy to get into the car for trips out. She has also tried really hard to remain housetrained even in kennels, so should pick this up again quickly with more regular access to an outside area. Mary enjoys a potter around at her own pace and is a lovely, laid-back lady.
