About This Dog for Adoption

Binx's ideal home

Binx is looking for a home with a family who can give him lots of adventures and love. As he can be a bit bouncy when excited, he can live with sensible children aged 10 years and over who will be sensible and calm with handling and interacting with him. Binx will not be able to live with cats or small animals due to his racing history, but can live with another polite and friendly dog. Having lived most of his life in kennels, he will need time and patience to learn the rules of a home and he will likely need housetraining, so his adopters will need to give him regular access to a secure and private garden to help him learn. Binx can be left alone for up to around 2 hours once settled in but this should be introduced once he has had time to get used to his new home and routine and ideally be after a walk so he can relax and have a long snooze! Binx will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. If you rent your property, please have written permission from your landlord ready once you have submitted your application to avoid delays, as it will be required early on in the rehoming process if you are shortlisted. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes between 7 - 10 days.

Could you be Binx's perfect match?

Fun and loveable, Binx is a 4 year old Greyhound who will either lean on you for a cuddle or want you to play. Once he has had enogh fun, he likes nothing better than a big snooze. Having lived his life in racing kennels, he doesn’t have much formal training, but he is a well-mannered boy, even if he is a little clumsy! He is a very friendly lad and will occasionally jump on your lap for a cuddle. Binx loves a soft, smelly treat and will try and learn new tricks for a treat! Although he loves a zoom around and a chance to stretch his long legs, Binx has such a loving, affectionate side and adores cuddles with his humans! He likes toys, but doesn't always know what to do with them, when he does play with them he zooms around. He is a fun, playful and cuddly lad who will be such a wonderful addition to a lucky home.
