About This Dog for Adoption

Scooby doo's ideal home

A gentle giant with an adorably sweet, yet very sensitive temperament – meet Scooby Doo! He much prefers the quieter side of life and would love to find a family who could embrace his docile character, support him with some confidence building, and provide him with the peaceful abode that he longs for. Due to his nervous nature, Scooby would best be suited to an adult-only household, with minimal visitors and no visiting children. While a little inexperienced when it comes to socialising with other dogs, Scooby would benefit from the company of a well-rounded dog who could show him the ropes. He is currently residing with his good friend Maggy and would be happy to continue living with her if the right home comes along! However, he is unable to live with any cats or other small furries. A decent-sized garden of his own is essential, as Scooby may not wish to venture away from his home in the initial stages of settling in. His potential adopters should be aware that this could take a few months. Unsure about travelling in the car, Scooby may need to be lifted in on occasion (for example, if there is an emergency) and his new family should be physically able to lift him.

Could you be Scooby doo's perfect match?

Scooby is a loving chap but rather than being tactile, it is enough for him to just know his humans are nearby. However, once he knows you very well, he does enjoy short and gentle fusses. His favourite pastimes include having a good sniff about in the garden, lounging on the sofa, and tucking into his dinner.
